Back to School Night

We can't wait to see you at Back to School Night on August 10th from 4:30-6:30pm!

What to Expect

  • Meet your child's teacher
  • Drop off school supplies
  • Explore the school
  • Meet our principal, counselor, nurse, and other staff members
  • Learn about important routines and expectations for the upcoming school year

Classroom Information Sessions
Each teacher will offer three identical classroom sessions so families can choose the time that works best for them:

  • Session 1: 4:45 PM
  • Session 2: 5:15 PM
  • Session 3: 5:45pm

During these sessions, you'll have the opportunity to visit your child's classroom, drop off supplies, and learn about classroom procedures, communication, and what to expect this year. You can find supply lists for each grade level at the link here.

Come at Your Convenience
Outside of the classroom sessions, all school information tables and support staff will be available throughout the evening. Feel free to visit them at any time between 4:30 and 6:30 PM.

Water Testing Results

During our routine summer water testing, elevated levels of copper were identified in some locations within our building. Our regular filtering, flushing, and testing procedures have been effective in correcting all but three of those locations. These three locations are currently undergoing additional corrective measures and follow-up testing to ensure they meet water quality standards before being returned to service.

As we prepare to welcome students back, we are taking additional steps to ensure that our drinking water sources are safe for students, staff, and visitors. These steps include enhancing our filtration systems, increasing the frequency of filter replacement, and continuing our regular monitoring and testing procedures.

To support these efforts, classroom bubblers will be turned off, and students will use designated water bottle-filling stations for drinking water. We will also be purchasing additional water bottle fillers to provide convenient access to filtered drinking water throughout the building.

The health and safety of our students and staff remains our highest priority. We are committed to maintaining a safe learning environment and will continue to monitor our water system and follow all recommended guidance. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Thank you,

Robin Butler, Principal
