A Message from Mr. Albertson (P.E):
Hello and welcome to P.E. at Valley View!
My name is Gene Albertson, and this is my 2nd year at Valley View and 14th year teaching P.E. We’ve started the year by reviewing procedures, expectations, and rules. Here’s what a typical P.E. class looks like:
- Warm-Up (3–5 minutes): Students get moving right away to prepare their bodies and minds.
- Fitness (5–10 minutes): Students build strength, flexibility, endurance, and other fitness skills.
- Lesson Focus (15–20 minutes): Students practice the skills and activities we are learning that week.
- Closing Activity (5–10 minutes): We finish with a fun game or group activity.
A few reminders for families:
- Students should wear appropriate athletic shoes for P.E.
- If an injury prevents participation for more than one week, please be sure to provide a doctor's note to our office.
I’m looking forward to another great year with our Valley View students! Please reach out if you have any questions.
A Message from Miss. Shoen (Music):
